Interested in taking one of my courses? Here's what's coming soon and how you can register.
📐 Calculus Sequence
I teach the core Engineering Calculus sequence, exclusively to students from the College of Engineering:
- MATH 181: Calculus I for Engineers — Focuses on rates of change, limits, and derivative applications.
- MATH 182: Calculus II for Engineers — Focuses on integration, numerical methods, and sequences/series.
- MATH 283: Calculus III for Engineers — Focuses on multivariable calculus, vectors, and vector fields.
Upcoming Teaching Schedule (2026–2029):
My tentative course availability for the next 3 years is below. Schedules are subject to department updates.
| Term | Course | Course |
|---|---|---|
| Fall 2026 | MATH 181: Calc I | MATH 283: Calculus III |
| Spring 2027 | MATH 182: Calculus II | MATH 181: Calc I |
| Fall 2027 | MATH 283: Calculus III | MATH 182: Calculus II |
| Spring 2028 | MATH 181: Calc I | MATH 283: Calculus III |
| Fall 2028 | MATH 182: Calculus II | MATH 181: Calc I |
| Spring 2029 | MATH 283: Calculus III | MATH 182: Calculus II |
My courses are hidden from view in MyUNLV and restricted so that only engineering students may register. In order to take a course, you need to go through a few steps:
- Complete a Request Form: Receive individual permission to add the course by completing a form:
- (Coming Soon, please be patient)
- Note: completing the form does not register you for the course, it only gives you permission to register.
- Register for the course: Use MyUNLV to add the course (after receiving permission by completing Step 1). You will receive an email with detailed instructions after receiving permission by completing Step 1.
Important! My courses fill very quickly, often the wait list is as large as the enrollment! Make sure you have any registration holds removed from your account before your university-assigned registration date. If you aren't able to add the course on your registration date, it is unlikely that you'll get a seat, and there will be nothing I can do to support. Be ready to sign up on your registration date!
